Editor’s Letter – The Gender issue, produced with an open mind, started off initially as the Empowerment issue. I was led down a completely different path when I met a Womanist. The unique perspective of the woman, who is on the cover of this issue steered me in the direction of gender and sexuality. I learnt a lot from each woman interviewed. I was determined to set aside my notion of conventional relationships to document their honesty. I discovered the art of listening.
